After Wednesday’s competition we’re now half way through the year; and at the halfway point the clear leader is Keith Pritchard! For the full details head over to the POTY web page
Tonight is a Big Night for Competitions!
As well as the Open Projection and Set Subject “Strength” competitions taking place tonight, it’s the last handing-in date for your prints for the next competition. And it’s the last handing-in date for your L&CPU Individual competition entries; prints + digital.
So there will be 16×20 prints everywhere tonight. No – hold on – they have to be 40x50cm otherwise they will be thrown in the air and stamped on, not unlike my print in the last monthly comp.
Portrait and Macro Evening Results
Practical Portrait and Macro Evening
Tomorrow (Friday 9th January) the Project Group have organised a Practical Portrait and Macro evening, using the club’s new Studio Flash. All members are welcome, not just Project Group members, but a condition of entry is that you may have to volunteer to act as the portraiture model for a short time!
Bring along your cameras, tripods lenses, meters, phones, remotes and anything else you think you may need.
Meet in the Small Hall from 7.15 pm
2015 Season Starts Tomorrow!
2015 kicks off with our first open print competition of the year. You handed in your entries over a month ago so it may be a nice surprise to find out what you entered when the judge talks us through the photographs.
