Members Evening

This weeks meeting we had the Smartphone challenge. A big thank you to David Hardy for organizing, and running the evening along with our chair David.

The evening started by a quick run through of all the images followed by a more in depth run through so we, the audience could make our selections.

There was a great range of impressive images all captured on our smartphones, which made our selections all the more difficult. After the break the winning images were announced but in the end there was only one image that that beat all the others hands down. The winning image was taken by one of our long standing members and excellent photographer Pat Sawas with her image of a rainy Manchester scene, after the announcements'  each author had the opportunity to talk about the images they had entered.

Coming in second place was Nick Jones with super image of Borth Wen, Anglesey.

Competition Week

This week is the first print competition of the season. The entries numbers for this competition has been amazing, so hopefully it will be fantastic evening of viewing some stunning members images. So we hope to see you all supporting all our fellow WPC members who have submitted their prints into this first print competition of the year.
