Manchester Cathedral 

The dazzling spectacle comes to the UK for the very first time.

Get ready to experience spectacular video projection, anthemic live music, and narration by Manchester’s own Christopher Eccleston.

Luminiscence is an immersive, 360° light and sound show coming to Manchester Cathedral from January 14 to March 26, 2026. The show features 360° video projections that transform the cathedral's architecture, a specially commissioned story narrated by Christopher Eccleston, and live performances of iconic Manchester anthems by the Manchester Collectives Gospel Choir. It is a standing, walk-through experience, though seating can be requested.
