A word from the Chairman

Another great speaker at the club this week, and that comes from someone who has a Samsung phone.  I've been looking into my camera settings to see how my phone compares with the latest iPhone. I've also found a couple of apps that Android owners might like to look at. These are Open Camera and HD Camera for Android 2024. The first is totally free and there is a lot of free functionality in the second. You might want to give them a try.

On the subject of external speakers, do you want to join the programme sub-committee and organise a couple of speakers for the club. It isn't a lot of work so why not let David Hardy or myself know.

Our latest guest speaker was Adrian McGarry. Adrian delighted us all with his enthusiastic use of the smartphone, his phone of choice being the iPhone.His range of images soley taken on his iPhone was truly amazing.

2nd Round Cheadle Alliance

Next week is the second round of the Cheadle alliance competitions. So with this there will be no meeting on the 11th March of the WPC at the Conservative Club.

All will be welcome to attend the competition at Stockport Photographic Society to support the members with images selected for this round. Details and directions below.

The meeting starts 19:30, doors normally open 20 minutes before.
