Competition 4

Monthly Competition: Colour & Nature/Animals (PDI)

Tuesday, 13 January·7:30 – 9:30pm

We ended up with a total entry to Comp 4 of 110 images. Amazing!

Unfortunately it means that I had to cull both sections which still leaves the judge with 38 in one section and 40 in the other which I think is quite challenging time wise. This means that your entry no.3 has been cut from both sections, but you will be able to carry them forward to Competition 6, so it’s not a total write off.

There are some truly excellent images so I’m looking forward to a great competition.

Project Group

The next meeting is scheduled for January 20th 2026 and the chosen themes are:-

1. Black.

2. Hands.

Remember this is not a competitive group, its aim is to get you out taking new pictures of subjects you may not normally consider shooting , learning new skills and finding settings on your camera you may not regularly use.

The theme interpretation is entirely up to you, and we are looking for a presentation to last around FIVE minutes. The images should be put on a clean memory stick ( brought in on the evening) and do not need to be resized.
